Dedicated to the memory of Kyria Wilcox Cromwell

This site is a tribute to Kyria Wilcox Cromwell, my mother. She passed away unexpectedly following ill health on 8 January 2024. Just shy of her 76th birthday and before the end of the Australian Open Tennis.

Her fierce opinions, unfailing kindness and passionate heart will certainly be remembered. With over 25 years dedicated service as a social worker in Children's Adoption and Fostering, her particular love for family and friends' children meant a lot.

Her funeral will be at 10.15 on Friday 16th February 2024 at Beckenham Crematorium.

Her funeral reception will follow at Ridley Arts Centre, 24 Sundridge Ave, Bromley BR1 2PX.

Both have good public transport links and free parking. Parking for the crematorium is through the main entrance and sign posted. There is a handy coffee truck in the car park and toilets available on site.

Parking for the reception is either just outside the venue or on the road / side roads for free. You can park anywhere across the cycle lanes but not on the kerb. Toilets and disabled access are also available.

No flowers please. Condolences being preferred in the form of donations to NACOA. This is a charity very close to Sarah's heart. Set up in 1990 to help both children and adults with issues surrounding familial drinking, their helpline takes over 30,000 calls a year.

Please use this page to share memories, stories and photos of Kyria that you may come across.
